Yam Cake

This is my elder daughter's favourite snack and she has been pestering me for quite sometimes now for this savoury cake and I'm glad to say i had made them twice to satisfy her cravings. Yam cake is a Chinese delicacy and can be easily found in in Chinese morning market selling breakfast along and usually served with sweet brown sauce and spicy sambal or garlic-chilly sauce.

Every time we visit morning market, this is a must have breakfast for my elder daughter  and now i could make it for her without a visit to the market. Sprinkle with chopped red chillies, chives and crispy fried onion on the bed of creamy and tender yam paste this is absolutely a must try dish.
